Supporting the Parish

Your Support

The Parish Finances depend entirely on the generosity of our parishioners through their weekly offerings. The Parish income needs to match its regular outgoings. In addition our income also needs to cover repayment of outstanding debts and planning for future developments.

We would prefer if you could make donations by bank Standing Order. You can either set this up yourself via online banking (contact the Parish Office for our bank details)  or you can obtain a standing order form from the Parish Office.

If you prefer to give using weekly numbered envelopes, please ask the Parish Office for a box of envelopes.
If you pay Income Tax the Parish can benefit from a repayment of the tax you have paid on your
donations, giving an additional 25% to the Parish. In order to do this, please complete a Gift Aid declaration from the
Parish Office, and when you have completed it, return it to the Parish Office.

Gift Aid Scheme
If you give just £5 per week and pay tax at the standard rate, the Parish receives your £260 for the year, plus a refund of the tax you have paid on your donation. In May each year, you receive a statement of your total contributions for the tax year, and a new box of envelopes.

Make a bequest to Holy Innocents' Church

Another way of supporting our Parish is to make a bequest to Holy Innocents'. Regular bequests transform our finances and allow us to invest in the church infrastructure and facilities. Please contact the Parish Office for more information.

Parish Finance Committee

The Committee oversees the Parish finances and ensures that all income and expenditure is properly recorded.
