Matthew Sammut who spent time during his formation at Holy Innocents' in 2021-2, was ordained to the Priesthood at the St John's Co Cathedral in Malta on 17th May 2025. 
Fr James Saydon, who also spent time at Holy Innocents' ​during his formation some years before, is seen here with Fr Matthew and Fr Victor Vella. 

Deacons Matthew Sammut (centre), Shawn Dominic Jonathan Wong,(Left) are due to be ordained to the Priesthood on Saturday 17th May 2025 at  St John's Co-Cathedral in Malta.  Jonathan is a close friend of Matthew. Jonathan is a Transitional Deacon at the Institute for World Evangelisation - ICPE Mission in Malta.  

Matthew spent several months at Holy Innocents' in 2022 during his formation.   He was hardworking, kind and a willing helper and much appreciated.  We wish every blessing to Matthew and Jonathan in their Ministries. 

Our Parish Priest, Father Victor Vella, will be giving the Homily at Matthew's first Mass of his Priesthood on Sunday morning 18th May.
