During the month of October the Filipino Community meet regularly to pray the rosary with their young people leading the prayers. During this time they collect donations for the church. On the last day of October they meet in Holy Innocents' Church to pray the Rosary with Parishioners and all others are invited to join them and to share in Fellowship in the Fr Phelan Centre afterwards.
Following prayers in church £1,080 was presented to Fr Victor on Friday night, Fr Victor thanked all for their generosity and said the money would be used towards the deep cleaning and survey of the church to be arranged before the 45th Anniversary in 2026, of the Dedication of the church in 1981.
A very prayerful time followed by a sumptuous feast. Thank you to all.
