We pray for Uganda, where there has been very little rain over the past few months. The crops are sorely in need of water, to produce a successful harvest. We pray in particular for rain in Father Peter Ssennyndo's parish, (past supply priest at Holy Innocents'.) Without rain there is danger of being without food or income. In addition there is a dearth of clean drinking water. The parish is trying to raise some money to install water tanks to conserve water during the rainy season to provide a supply for any dry season such as they are suffering now.
May the Lord enable them to receive help to fulfil all their needs. Amen.
