In appreciation of his selfless and dedicated Ministry as our Parish priest for 13 years, our Parish presented  Father Victor with  an Apostolic Blessing from the Holy Father, a Chalice hand carved with a depiction of the Last Supper, a Paten, Rosary box and a Rosary all made from pure olive wood in Bethlehem.

He was also presented with a Poem written by Cecilia Skudder.

16  February 2021 Shrove Tuesday

Shrove Tuesday was an opportunity to share on zoom with children and others the fun of making pancakes.  The occasion was prayerful with Susan Shardlow explaining to the children that people would go to confession then come home and use up all the fats and eggs in the home by making pancakes, so that no luxury food was in the house for Lent.
(The meaning of Shrove, absolving someone from their sins.)
Great fun was had as well as it being as well as a it being a prayerful service.
